"Who is Karis Koris?" (zine, early 2026)

About

Masquerading throughout a few musical corners of the Pacific Northwest, Karis Koris is a living, moving performance of musical storytelling in European Pierrot style. Brandishing haunting vocalizations and harmonium accompaniments, Karis’ work reflects a brain out of sync with its body.

Karis Koris lives in Eugene, Oregon, and loves it; but they were born and raised in the Sonoran Desert. Karis tried college, hated it, spent several years working extensively on their mental health, and now works a fulfilling day job in between time spent performing, writing, drawing, and recording.

The physical human animal that harbors the artist (each vexingly inseparable from the other) enjoys hiking, swimming, lifting, fine teas and spices, antiquitous oddities, bugs, rain, and the many joys of domestic life with a beloved wife and dog at home.
